SERVICEMASTER

In 2020, Birch was selected to double the warehouse and maintenance space for ServiceMaster, a commercial cleaning company that provides disinfecting services to healthcare and religious facilities around the world. An open and operating facility, this ground-up project operated on a small site and required detailed coordination to minimize impact. We utilized Lean construction to meet an accelerated schedule and worked with our trade partners to phase the build and go vertical. This approach allowed multiple ServiceMaster loading docks to remain open during the life of the project, minimizing impact on operations.

Site constraints was a significant challenge for this project. The construction of these two new warehouses, built along the south and east side of an existing  facility, required ongoing coordination with the Euless Fire Department to maintain fire lanes and maintain traffic flow. In total, the two additional warehouses totaled more than 35,000 square feet of new construction.
