In 2022, Birch led the demolition and renovation of Fielder’s administrative and office space, updated the church’s exterior envelope and expanded the parking lot. During the roofing replacement, the existing metal deck was determined to be a long term safety and maintenance issue for the facility. The Birch team reached out to multiple trade partners to find the most cost effective replacement options. Our schedule prioritized access for church-goers and focused on completing a new drive that could be cleared and open every Sunday for services. At the end of each week, the drive was cleared of construction materials and cleaned for visitors.

Then, in 2021, a significant winter freeze resulted in extensive water damage to the building. Our team helped develop a plan to get the building water-tight while also maintaining the structural integrity of the exterior brick facade and maintaining the owner’s allowance for completing this work.
