MIRADOR

Located on Main Street in downtown Dallas, Mirador Dallas is a vibrant penthouse restaurant with sweeping views of the downtown skyline and a wrap-around terrace that overlooks a courtyard with the famous eyeball sculpture. After a four-year closure following the pandemic, Birch was selected to revitalize this restaurant into a destination above and beyond its former glory.

We worked closely with the owner during the design-build process, and overcommunication and coordination were critical to maintaining attention to detail. Throughout the build, we delivered several high-level finish details, such as ensuring the mapa burl millwork pieces on the bar face and columns were bookend and book matched to capture the design intent. In addition to the fabrication of millwork, we led the installation of custom furniture, inlay of the terrazzo flooring and large format wall stone pieces that were strategically picked and placed according to millwork patterns. We finished three weeks ahead of schedule to meet the owner’s request to host a party.
